Description
For your consideration today is a vintage solid 14k yellow gold Masonic 32 degree Masonic ring, very nicely crafted. I've seen this maker's mark before but cannot remember who it is (W over a crown).
This ring features the double eagle design.  The detail on the eagles is nice and crisp. The natural diamond is set very securely in the center of the ring. It is a beautiful old European cut, measuring 4.75 x 2.5mm deep, which calculates to approximately .36 ct.  This diamond has no inclusions visible to the naked eye or even with a loupe. It is graded as H color and VS2 to SI1 clarity, by our experienced estate jeweler.  It's a beautiful stone.
One shoulder has the Yod symbol with perfect black enamel, and the other shoulder with the 32 is missing a bit of enamel at the point (barely noticeable, and which could easily be touched up).  The only other thing to mention was that this looks to have been sized at one point with the addition of gold to the shank, and the gold could be polished where the sizing was done if that bothers you.
The face measures 5/8" top to bottom. The ring is hallmarked 14k with the maker's mark mentioned above.    It weighs 9.4 grams, and is a size 11.25 The ring is in good overall vintage condition.
